Description
The invasion of the flies? Possibly, you have already read about the Museum of Urban Art at the Old Hamlet, a historic community inside the Campidoglio neighborhood of the city of Turin (Italy), lokking at the other pictures of this gallery. If not, and if you like, you can know more about it visiting my picture Street Art at the Campidoglio Neighborhood 1. This curious artwork, by Sergio Ragalzi, shows a swarm of flies on the back wall of an old building. You may like or not the visual effect of this work, but it is hard to deny that it is impressive. The disposition of the flies on the white wall and the use of different hue and saturation of grey and black, give a great sense of movement and realism to this painting. You can almost hear the scary noise of the moving insects. As for the other public artworks, I have composed this picture trying to show the environment and urban contest. However, in this specific case, my goal was to shoot this image from a more powerful perspective, to add a bit of drama to this peculiar artwork.
