This image shows a completely different and more abstract perspective of this memorial. I shot this picture in the morning, from the south-west side of the building. The rays of the sun did not come directly and the light was colder, giving the columns a whiter appearance (see more details about the colonnade and the memorial in the general description of this gallery). The main feature here is the strength and the stateliness of the columns themselves, stressed by the distortion of the wide-angle lens and by the presence of the security guard.
