Description

This is a variation of a classic image of Jefferson Memorial and Tidal Basin. Including pedalos in this composition, I tried to increase the perspective and to show the characteristic of this environment, that in a few hours will be full of tourists from all over the world. The early morning tranquility is a beautiful and often overlooked aspect of the Tidal Basin. Besides, as always, the early hours’ colors and light are best for photography. I believe this is a great setting for photographers and any people enjoying beauty and nature. I composed this picture from the East side of the Tidal Basin, near Main Avenue SW.
