Description
this park is located in the Fairfax County (Washington Area) and was built on land that had been purchased by the federal government in the 1950s for an international airport, before the site of Dulles Airport was chosen as a replacement. It is particularly beautiful and photogenic in winter and fall, even in the parts that are not close to the lake, like in this image. I composed this picture a few minutes before sunset, using a wide-angle lens.
