Description
I composed this picture inside the Salvador Dali Museum at St. Petersburg, Florida. Designed by architect Yann Weymouth, Salvador Dali Museum is a surreal building. It opened in January 11, 2011, and costed over 30 million dollars. This structure features a large glass entryway and skylight made of 1.5-inch-thick glass. The glass entryway, partially shown in this image, is called the Enigma, is 75 feet tall and encompasses a spiral staircase. The remaining construction, composed of 18-inch concrete, was planned to protect its magnificent collection of 96 oil paintings from hurricanes, very common in this area.
